Your update, post vet visit
I came home from work this evening and I found
rivulets of blood on the basking rock for my spider geckos. Here is a link to

impaction. Hasn't happened in my collection, however, I am not a big fan
of sand substrate. I use Reptisand when I do use sand. Fine grade sand
if you must!
