Thanks Julie and Kelli,
I am raising a male for the first time. It is amazing how much less food he needs,
compared to the girls. He is so fat! A guess my baby, that was 3g when she hatched and
is 7g at 2 months, has a long way to go. She is my first with a perfect jungle stripe.

Hello,
I have been keeping leopard geckos for a about 10 years now. I
am thinking about doing a new setup. I am looking for a naturalistic
substrate. In reading the archives about substrate it seems the posts

month anyway but wow!
I guess spring is in the air!

My Fat Tailed gecko laid her first eggs. The were duds and laid in the *crapatorium*.
But can fertile eggs be far behind? I have seen her and the male mating.

Do Fat Taileds lay as often as Leos? If not how often could I expect eggs?

Hi Cyndy,
In lots of geckos the first clutch is not good. Look for the second

Chad,
The only really effective way to get rid of them is hand picking. Get some long
tweezers and pick out each one you see. One way to prevent them from coming in on your
plants is to wash all the soil off the new plants. The eggs were probably in the soil
of your plants.

Toasted wheat germ has a lot of Vitamin E. It might be a good way to increase the Vit
