Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but following the PPMC guide [1]
to vote a new member in, I have to send an e-mail with the vote thread
msgid, but I don't know how I can get this id. Any help would be
appreciated.

That depends which mailer you are using.
The messageID is in the mail headers.
From gmail web interface you can ask View Original.
From Outlook, there is a View Options.
