[gentoo-user] failed to update time at end of daylight savings time

In /etc/rc.conf, I have set: CLOCK=local /etc/localtime is a symlink to /usr/share/zoneinfo/America/New_York And back when daylight savings time ended, my clock didn't update. I know there must be something missing. I'm just not seeing it.ntpd is running on the box. TIA -- Regards, Ernie
