pppoe. The x86 installation guide coverage is very short there..
If anyone would like to write a pppoe guide, it should cover

I ran adsl-setup and everything seemed to go OK. eth1 came up ok with
dhcpcd. But when I ran adsl-start I got the error message:
/usr/sbin/adsl-start: line 191: 2167 Terminated$CONNECT $@
/dev/null 21
Any help would be really appreciated.

I'm installing Gentoo on a friend's machine remotely. I've never set it up
before on a machine with DSL. I emerge'd rp-pppoe and ran adsl-setup. I looked
around, but I didn't see anything that looked related in /etc/init.d. How do I
make sure it comes up at startup?
