how do I activate colorgcc? I emerged it, re-ermerged gcc-config,
put a FEATURES wrappers in /etc/make.conf. I executed the
export PATH as written at the end of the ebuild, but it does not
work, when I emerge e.g. mc.
How do I activate it exactly?

What you will notice is that Linux will use a small ammount of swap from
the beginning, but it won't use much until actually you run out of RAM.
Perhaps someone else knows the rationale behind this.

I'm building another Gentoo box and needed nvidia's lates drivers. Along
with them came gcc-3.2.2-r1. Now I can't build mysql. I see some past
trafic on the subject and a bug filed but no fix. Has anyone found a
fix? For now I have -mysql in my USE variables but might need it in the
