installs gekrellmd only.
Hmmm...what should I emerge instead. In the list of all gekrellm* I
only found addons additionally.

On the Gentoo-Wiki I found some description how to use pktsetup
to write to CD+/-RW.
But this seems not to work for DVDRAM.
I would be very happy for any hint for the correct handling of

I did an
emerge portage
and everything runs fine.
Than I did a
emerge --searchdesc luks
which runs forever (I killed that job after waiting for about half
an hour...)
What is going wrong here? Did I missing something while/after
updateing portage ???

the compiler takes the later options you specify, if they together makes
no sense.
So gcc -O2 -O3 bla.c is the same as gcc -O3 bla.c
and gcc -O3 -O2 bla.c is the same as gcc -O2 bla.c.

wrong PYTHONPATH, which I had fixed in the user settings but not for

installed openoffice-2.0.2-r2.
The build failed again with the same error while installing.
...to delete contents of /var/tmp/portage/. ?
