Hmm. My AR5006EG works just fine with madwifi-ng. ;-)
64-bits just aren't worth it on the desktop.
They are if you have 4G RAM or more. ;-)

it say in dmesg? Everyone is having the same trouble

listed. I've found a 64-bit Vista driver but ndiswrapper doesn't work
