with crossdev I tried to build a toolchain for the
armv7a-unknown-linux-gnueabi target.
The build process failed due to a wrong format of an archive
of patches.
Is there a way for a local quick fix...or am I lost for
a longer period of time... ;) ???

filesystem.
The last few gentoo installations I have done all had
/usr/tmp symlinked to /var/tmp and I don't believe I did this symlink
