I'm doing my Bachelor Thesis and I've got a problem with Geoinformation
System. The Topic of the thesis is the integration of a geoinformation
system into a desktop application.
The geoinformation system has to fulfill the following requirements:

I am a geotools amateur, but Open Street Maps is an open source map
competitor to Google maps which can be used with geotools, only thing is you
will need to convert the OSM format to GML using a converter. I am not very
sure about google map because i always thought google map exposed a
