I have tried to modify your definition in order to produce rings
rather than full surface extrusions ( so each curve is offset to a
certain distance) but have not managed to get it to work,
can you recommend a way of doing so?

If only Nathan's definition could somehow be mixed with Tim's.
I sorta got WaffleBrep1 not 2 working but it doesnt make the section
as isocruve offsets.
The truth is I dont fully understand the definitions.
