Please take note that AJL's regular biennial election of officers will take
place May 1-30. Next Wednesday, an email message with a link to your
ballot will be sent to all members on May 1. This link is tied to your
email address and can only be used once.

It depends on whether your tapes are commercial VHS tapes, or tapes of
synagogue events / oral history interviews, etc.
If the latter, I would hang on to them and try to get some funding to
digitize.
