I just finished revising the chapter on library policy for the revised edition
of the booklet HOW TO ORGANIZE A JEWISH LIBRARY. I checked several libraries
policies. A few of them, in their policy for accepting book donation (used or
new) mention that the librarian's advance
The replies interest me too. We had off sight services to the synagogue which
was located in a separate building and to a senior citizens center. We had old
fashion borrowers corded and a list of the patrons with their contact info. We
recorded the barcode when they borrowed a book and
or our 50th
anniversary conference on the DC area.

First let me tell you that I was delighted to see your name on Hasafran. Most
of our YA books collect dust on the shelves. When I moved it to the adult
section not even one copy stayed on the shelf. I can imagine how Toby felt when
parents read it to their 3rd-4th grade mature children.

Thanks for sharing this information. I still remember how Lee would push the
wheelchairs so that Irene ZL could attend the conferences each year when she
her condition got worst. It showed hers and his dedication to AJL.
