I don’t know if SPM requires uncompressed NIFTI or not. As for the additional
files, some are gradient corrected versions of a given file, or auxiliary files
to be used in processing that file with the HCP Pipelines (e.g. for a
structural image there are two phase reversed spin echo images

When I use the unprocessed data in SPM, should I uncompress *.gz files
first? Additionally, in ../LS2001/unprocessed/3T/T1w_MPR1_Norm/, there are 6
more files than the same directory of other subjects. Why?

Hi,
I know the genotyping data is going to be released soon but I wonder if
it's possible for me to get the genotype of a specific SNP (rs10772420)
that has been reported to associate with the taste intensity in a published
GWAS.

You will have to wait for the release of the data. We are currently working
through the logistics and plan to upload the genotyping data on all subjects
with genotyping results en masse to dbGAP or a similar database. It will then
be up to the users to pull out genotyping data on
