Hello,
Having done a little bit of searching and reading on their pages, I don't
see a mailing list, is there an announcement system in place at all? Or is
it just quietly updated on their respective websites?
Thanks,

I'm stuck at the moment trying to figure out dedicated servers on a LAN.
Right now I have 15 different VLANs on my network (15 separate

the LAN parties mostly.
Having my game servers sitting on 192.168.3.0/24 and having

Hey dan,
I did try to actually change the subnet on the client to a /16 just for
giggles, and unfortunately it still sent the broadcast on 255.255.255.255.
Unfortunately the core switch we are using isn't allowing me to forward the
broadcasts into the other networks, so I'm working on figuring
I have a plethora of TF2 servers...and seemingly the one that is trending
up in good standing always seems to do better than the ones that are just
trending steady in good standingmakes you wonder.
Looking forward to getting the steady servers updated though - those

Hello Mailing List,
Will there ever be consideration for Class B and Class A LAN settings for
sv_lan 1?
At the moment when a server administrator chooses to use sv_lan 1 this is
what is displayed on the console:

I have attempted to update my tf2 server several times, and am using

What is your ./steam command line?

Load does not equal CPU load.
Be sure that you are setting your srcds to a specific core and not to all
cores (0-3 or 0-7 if you are on a mult-core machine).
Also, more information might be helpful about the game that you are
hosting/administering, things like:
--What game are you hosting?
Valve time is well documented, also I'm fairly certain they're on Pacific
time in the US.
I'd expect no sooner than 8 or 9pm Eastern time.
