I do think so, cause our server crashes on it. Alfred, you said it was
nothing to worry about, but our servers crash on it. So i think this is a
problem. Exactly after that error i get a segmentation fault...

I'm getting the following error in debug mode:
Enabling debug mode
Console initialized.
Attempted to create unknown entity type event_queue_saveload_proxy!
Game.dll loaded for Counter-Strike: Source

maxplayers set to 20

Thanks for making this thread -- just to reiterate, this will fix
Metamod:Source breaking with the latest update.
I apologize for not releasing this sooner, and for the bug existing in
the first place (it's not supposed to break with updates).

Never mind the error was caused by SBSRC (the plugin from SteamBans)
which is now being fixed. There were two errors here...
My bad :)

Hi everyone,
since I updated our HL2MP server today it is unable to start anymore.
After performing the autoupdate the server restarts. I've already
checked it with the CSS installation, same error.
Here is the debug.log:

CRASH: Do Mai 25 11:07:46 CEST
We are getting these errors even after a -verify_all many times
We have been getting this a while now and still getting it on every map
change after the update, default server no mods or with mods all the same
FC-3
Failed to CRC sprites/white.vtf
Failed to CRC vgui/white.vtf
Failed to CRC
You can ignore those messages and they will not cause a crash. I don't
know why you get a segfault, remove any plugins you may have installed.

Source requires the SSE instruction set to run. If you are using FreeBSD make
sure you enable the SSE option (FreeBSD guys, what is the magic command line to
make this happen?)

hehhe, i wish it was a magic option.. It requires a recompile of the kernel.
Add the following line to your kernel config, and recompile:
options CPU_ENABLE_SSE

This is totally unacceptable! We have been having seg fault's for
some time but now it wont even start at all! A reconfigure of a multi
tasked box system is not doable.
Thanks again Valve!
Please fix!
Thank you.

Hey All,
When trying to start a Day of Defeat:
Is the SSE instruction set required since yesterdays update? I thought
it always was.
I ask because before the update everything worked fine.
Thank you in advance.

If you need this option you need to upgrade its not
been required since 4.x current stable
Hello Alfred,
Could you possibly guide on me executing this command, as I got 'unknown
command' results from bash.
Cheers
Ryan
