python-2.3.6 does not compile the readline extension by default and
also the configure option --enable-readline no longer works.

connection.
Let's try this. Can you cancel all jobs if any are pending. Then set the
CUPS debug level to debug. Then restart another print job. Then could
you send or post your CUPS error log.

user/password locking up.
