Using, http://hplip.sourceforge.net/install/manual/distros/mandriva.html
you'll want to start at step1. It looks like you don't have all of
HPLIP's dependencies installed. Once you have that the rest should
follow suit. If you run into trouble just post back.

I went to http://hplip.sourceforge.net/install/manual/distros/mandriva.
html and I follow instructions from step 4 and I get a lot of line
“checking for” with many “yes” and some “no”.
Trying the step 5 I get

First I would remove that 1.6.12 package.
Then go to you're unpacked directory/folder and run './install.py' and
try again. If that fails again please post a './check.py -p' from the
unpacked directory.
You can also reference the manual instructions for additional help and
system setup
I have a HP Photosmart D5160 and I want to use with my Mandriva 2007.1
Power Pack. Running command “rpm -qa hplip” I get “hplip-1.6.12-
2mdv2007.1” so I had HPLIP 1.6.12.
Trying to install the printer I don't found the driver, also if it
seems from your site that D5160 is supported from
