I have 50 or so blank, unused, 3480 cartridges from 2005 (IMATION - 3M Royal
Guard 3480, 210 MB). Are they only worthy of the dump at this point? If you
want to ship, they come with storage racks. ;-)
Thanks,

Problem solved. Thanks to all of you.
Once I learned that Brown's tn3270 (which I had used successfully before)
worked with somebody's Lion system, I tried it again.
What I discovered was that I was making two changes at one time - Lion PLUS and
trying to logon to our z/VM system instead of
I'd like to thank the IBM-Main people who either responded to our ad or passed
it along. We received two dozen applications in the first week, and all are
fairly qualified or extremely qualified. We will definitely find someone from
this group.
Many thanks,

I haven't been able to access WSC techdocs for over 24 hours. Is anyone able to
get to it? The link I usually use is http://www.ibm.com/support/techdocs.

Is anyone using this product? Is it worth the price (somewhere between $300-
$2000/month)? Would you use it if it came as part of z/OS?
I've searched the IBM-Main archives and found one question in each of the last
four years, but I found that IBM documentation is missing in action. I'm
. The inability of BDT to transmit PDSE's will severely
restrict our ability to exploit PDSEs since we transmit 100's of load modules
between sites
on a daily basis.
Is this still true today, and if so, what do sites use to transfer PDSEs?
Thanks so much,

I usually point out to my customers that adding zIIPs and zAAPs
provides a performance benefit for both of the reasons that Bill
mentions below. The most significant for everyone is the second
benefit (reducing the strain on the CPs). But you need to realize
