Hi,
I am a research student and relatively new to XAFS. I have soft X-Ray
L-edge data of Mn and Ni. Is it possible to process this data in Athena and
then fit in Artemis like usual K-edge data?
Thanks

Hi Jan Samson,
Are you using the latest version of Demeter that is 0.9.18.2?
As far I know, the problem you have mentioned was a known issue in
previous version and removed in the latest build.

Shoaib

Dear Syed Khalid,
One simple work around can be to select Plugin Registry and enable SSRL
related plugins. By doing this I was able to successfully read both the
attached files in Demeter Athena. Further details to enable plugins can be

Dear All,
In Athena documentation section I can see data plotted as scatter instead of
line type plot (for example the plot shown in the attached file). This
feature seems to be helpful in deglitching the bad data points but I could
not figure out how to do it! Can anybody guide me how to plot
Thanks for this new Windows build. I have installed it and can confirm that
scatter plot during deglitching works fine and there is no energy shift
issue during point selection in deglitching as well.

Thanks Bruce, for this quick fix. Deglitching tool in Athena is working fine
after I replaced DeglitchTruncate.pm file in my installation directory
with the new one you just uploaded on github server.
