We currently use iText 1.3.1 via JasperReports. Someone posed a
question to me whether iText has any dependency on the print driver of
the Application server? I don't think so but I am not certain. Does
anyone know if there is a dependency from iText on the application
servers driver?
no dependency in most cases. Itext writes the PDF file to a file or a stream.
Printing the file is a downstream event unless you direct the PDF stream to
