I'm guessing you mean 0.1.9 IvyTV (a.k.a. ivtv).
It builds and installs ok. With the

Looks like your autodetect look

Pretty good summary of the status. ;)

I'd guess that you could probably get one of the

might be tougher.

I've seen various posts that people are getting the pvr-150 boards up
and working on their systems with ivtv 0.3.2b. Has anyone gotten
the IR remote receiver working yet? If so, any tips for me? I messed
around with ivtv 0.3.2a for a while and didn't get it to work.
Thanks!

Check the file doc/README.cx25840. The support for the 500 card has the same

The 500 card is basically two 150 cards and is identified as such by the
ivtv driver...

Hi,
I looked through the source code for the latest devel. version on
Chris Kennedy's site (ivtv.no-ip.com) and there are a bunch of
mentions of the 'pvr-500' in the source code.
I'm just trying to figure out how well this works *before* I go out
and actually buy one :)
Thanks much for any ideas
Almost definitely /dev/fb0 is not the correct device.
Look in var messages for a line
ivtv-osd: fb?: ivTVC15
The replace option fbdev /dev/fb0
With the appropriate device.

Hi,
I wrote a patch for Lirc 0.7.0 that adds support for the pvr-150 remote.
It has been added to the CVS, but you can download it from here as well:

Hi All,
I've finally managed to get my PRV-150MCE PAL working under Fedora Core 3.
It's working, but I only get mono audio when recording television
programs... Does someone know what can be done to fix this
Jaap.
BTW: I'm using ivtv-0.3.2b...
I have been keeping up with the development of the driver for the PVR 150 and it seems as though people with the PAL version are having some good luck with the ivtv-0.3.2b driver. Well, I have an NTSC version and with the ivtv-0.3.2a driver I am able to get great video but no audio. With the ivtv
Hi,
After inspecting my 250 and 350 I found something
strange: both boards have a 32.1 MHz crystal (xtal)
attached to the saa7115. If I look at the initialisation
values in saa7115.c, I find that PLL2 is setup for 24.576 MHz.
Is this ok? I could not conclude from the saa7115 datasheet

You have a PVR-150 MCE (I have one too). If you load the cx25840
module from the 0.3.2a driver you will be able to see video with
tuner=47 (with a 2.6.10 kernel module) or tuner=43 (with the 0.3.2b
tuner.ko -- it doesn't have the tuner type 47 definition but tuner
type 43 is identical).
Heh, I've had one on back order for awhile now. I'll post to the list
when it comes (about a week I guess).

I was finally able to get tuner audio working on my PVR 150 (boxed
NTSC version). Although 0.3.2b seems to be working for people with
PAL versions I had no luck until I made the changes outlined below to
the 0.3.2b source. Since tuner audio was coming through when

However, even when I revert back to the ivtv-0.1.9 the condition still
exists, even for recordings made with the ivtv-0.1.9
