troubleshooting?
The version of ivtv I'm using is 0.3.3k, and this doesn't appear to be
the mce version of the card.

I've successfully built the modules, but my Mandrake install seems to be
trying to load an older module that's supplied with the kernel.
Any ideas on how to get around that? modprobe ivtv hangs my system
completely.
Also, I can't really find a PVR150 basic FAQ or guide of any sort;

What is YUV output? I can't really find any references to it in the
Wiki/etc.
Can someone fill me in on this? I HAVE seen where ivtv can supposedly
output NV12-formatted raw video, but I'm drawing a blank on this YUV thing.
Is it the actual, true raw data? Or is it the mpeg2 video stream

What options are there for streaming video with a PVR-150? I recall a
few apps that allowed you to stream live video using V4L when using my
old BT848 video card, but I'm not sure how applicable any of that
information is with this new device...

and mplayer, there's a buffer that has to be filled and that
leads to a lag of several seconds.
Am I missing something obvious? Is there another application suitable
for this purpose, or another set of parameters I can pass mplayer to
achieve the same effect?

One thing I've been a bit dissappointed in with regards to IVTV and the

You can add -nocache to mplayer options, but it still won't work for

I'll just pick up an s-video
