A quick way to get this info. hold down your windows key and the pause key at same time and let go. The pause key is the last key on right of the pack of three keys above the num pad. This will bring up the system properties. now just route jaws to pc and arrow down to read ram and a lot more

I use jaws in a productivity environment and find this quirk to be extremely annoying however Jaws is the only screen reader that comes close to working with our proprietary software, so I live with the habitual repeat and regularly scheduled Jaws restarts that occur at the most critical times.
