that's because your shortcut, like other programs and apps, by default
opens in a 'normal' - i.e. restored - window. To change that, highlight
the shortcut on your desktop; Press alt=Enter for Properties; then tab

Have you actually installed and used Qihoo 360 Internet Security? How does
it compare with MSE in terms of JAWS accessibility? I checked some of the
reviews of this anti-virus program, and it sounds like it may be a good free
alternative to AVG and Avast, but how compatible is it with JAWS?
I use Win.7. I have used this Dimension 4 program to keep my computer time
as perfect as possible. I realized that my time is now off a little. I tried
to open Dimension 4 to see what is going on.
Well, I hear a chord and am now told that the built-in Time is being used
in Win.7 instead.
It screws up your computer and you don't want it. It is similar to CCleaner,
so they claim

Hello,
In the versionof Windows that you are running, this program is not at all
required anymore. Since Windows Vista, and possibly Windows XP, Windows has
a built-in NTP client. It runs in the background and will synch your clock
with a configured NTP server every 7 days or so. I'm not sure

Hi Timothy,
Thank you very much. On another note, is there a website that has all the
Firefox add-ons a description of their use? And, what are the most widely
suggested add-ons to run? Thank you very much.
Take care.

Hello Donnie,
I do not use AutoSizer but you can create a shortcut to the Bible Gateway
web site and have it opened maximized using Windows. Only shortcuts to

Hi All,
This is a note I found for the use of the Jaws cursor for Windows7, J14 /

to be working. It's tricky so, just a warning.

Hi Gerald,
I installed Qihoo 360 Internet Security, and as much as I can tell, it is very
compatible with JAWS.
I tried a few things, and they are all very easy to do. It is as easy as MSE,
although I did not try the Sandbox feature.
I did not try to remove the software from my PC.
HTH.
Hello,
I am wondering if one of you can tell me where I can get this from?
Also, you did say it is free, and is compatible with JAWS?
I thank you guys for any help.

Hello,
I was just curious as how it would work with JAWS. My wife did go to
the site, and found it only works with operating systems up to Win 8, and I
have Win 8.1.
I am currently using Windows Defender, and JAWS 15 will only read a

Sounds like a promising alternative to AVG and Avast. Are database
definitions updated automatically every day, and can you specify when to
perform automatic quick or full scans? Also, is it necessary to use the JAWS
cursor to access information on the user interface like with MSE?
Gerald
Are you saying that JAWS is not as compatible or user-friendly with Windows
Defender as it is for MSE? If that is the case, this would be yet another
reason to avoid updating to Windows 8.

Hello,
From my very short experience, I can tell you that you do not need to use JAWS
cursor to perform most tasks. I just checked the application now, and in one
case to move from one group of buttons to the next I used the arrow down key
and then all buttons were accessible using the tab.
I just checked the jaws help page tips and tricks on defraging your harddrive.

Hello,
MSE has very bad reviews, and in addition it performed very poorly in viruses
and malware protection tests.
I checked some reviews about 2014 antivirus and MSE ranked very low, and Qihoo

I used MSE for several years, and I never had a virus, but
Hopefully someone else on list can answer this as I only installed it
yesterday, dabbled with it a bit, and uninstalled it. Easier for me to
