My guess is that the PDF was created by someone scanning the information in
to it. Essentially, the document contains a picture of the contents. You
will need to run the document through some type of OCR (Optical Character
Recognition) process. If you have OpenBook, you can accomplish this by
Annette, which Adobe product do you have?
i think you're talking also about a paid Adobe product, whereas most
people are just using the free Adobe Reader (which doesn't have OCR

Hi Marlo,
This document can be read if you have an OCR program such as Openbook or
Kurzweil. If you have Openbook, try the following:
1. Open the PDF file when you hear empty document press, control + P, as
if you were to print something.
2. Arrow down this list press enter on the Freedom

I have seen this behavior on some web pages using Windows 8.1. I can go to

Depending on how large your PDF file is, will determine how long it will

Hi Again Marlo,
I forgot to mention that the steps I sent prior to this post are for Adobe

Sometimes, it will sound like you are typing the information into the edit
field, but in fact, you need to press either the Enter key or the Space Bar
to activate the edit fields. Give this a try to see if it doesn't fix your
problem.
