Yes, I use the laptop layout with JAWS all the time. We need to know which numpad commands you need to use, and then I can give you the laptop equivalent commands. For example, numpad enter is the same as regular enter. With the laptop layout turned on, you can use the caps lock as well as

Judy, for what it's worth, I agree with you. This is why I never tried learning WindowEyes, because it was so different from JAWS. Unfortunately, we will have to struggle with the problem until universal accessibility is mandated, which may not be for a long time, or till the sighted want it.

It seems to be browser dependent. As I said, control-m will stop playback in Firefox. I'm looking for ways to stop or block playback in both IE and Chrome. In IE, there are options to not download images and sounds, but will any of these options block this embedded media? If so, which option?
