Hi everyone.
I use this programme for videos and it works better than any others. I use
Winamp for audio-only playback as of now and am fiddling with Foobar 2000,
which seems very promising. But I would like to get greater functionality
from VlC as well. To that end, I have the following

Hello Vince,
To work with the speech settings you first go into the OpenBook Settings
menu by using Alt key with G.
Arrow down to speech settings and press enter key.
This is a multi-tab dialog but speech settings tab should be the tab in

Either f4 or spacebar to launch a scan.
Hi
JAWS used to have a thumb drive version, but it required the JAWS intercept
to be installed on every system that would run it. The latest version of
the JAWS thumb drive that I have seen was for JAWS 15. But JAWS 15 cannot
be used on a Windows 10 system.

Either f4 or spacebar to launch a scan. However if you have Openbook in edit
mode, then only f4 will launch a scan. The default Openbook voice is very
similar to eloquence, so likely that is what you are hearing.

Thanks Tom. Your instructions worked. As for the answer to your question
regarding starting playback, all I know is that when I pressed enter on the
subfolder from within the main folder sent to me, it played using Winamp.
Thanks again.

I just have to ask this question one more time. Does pressing the Spacebar
