Hi Jeff. To accentuate a syllable, insert a dash or space before the syllable you want accentuated, which should work most of the time. Depending on the desired vowel sound, I've also had success with double vowels on the syllable I want accented in the pronunciation entry. Orlando Enrique Fiol

When trying to define the proper pronunciation for a word in the JAWS 18 dictionary, how does one indicate the syllable that should receive the accent? I'm trying to get JAWS to pronounce Duluth properly. The accent should be on the second syllable. JAWS wants to put it on the first syllable.
