I frequently have problems with JAWS not speaking portions of a word or
line, entire lines, and multiple lines when in MS-Word and composing an

Try the following:
1. Refresh the screen, Insert+Escape.
2. Maximize the document window with Alt+spacebar and then
the letter X.
3. Maximize the application window with Alt+Dash and then
the letter X.

Hi, Cathy.
Have you routed the JAWS cursor to the PC cursor to see if there's another
window or dialog on top of the document window? I know JAWS 10 is better
about keeping focused when that happens, but I've had it happen to me, so
thought I'd throw out the suggestion.
