It's pretty clear to me from the second part of the message. His g key isn't working. Probably some muck got in there. Unfortunately I don't know how best to deal with this on a laptop. I tend to have lots of keyboards lying around so when one stops working right I just plug in another one.

I am not sure, I had this exact same issue, the folder would show up, but not have a folder name. Jaws would read it as 24 of 24, with no title, but when it was opened, all of the control panel items were there. Maybe it is supposed to be a well kept secret! Sent from Mail for Windows 10

Hello; I have seen this problem/issue before, having the GKey not type into the text. the only way to fix this is to restart jaws. When I saw this problem for the first time, I couldn't believe it wasn't a bad keyboard. on a hunch, I got client to restart jaws and all was well again.

Jerry, on your centered heading question, one way would be to press JAWS key+z to bring up "quick keys." Press h for "heading" to reach each heading in the document, then press the JAWS key+z toggle to get out of quick keys." One way to determine if a heading is centered is to press alt+delete

Interesting, and very strange. I think I noticed this as well, but I was also definitely having problems with the keyboard, and I don't recall if a new JAWS instance solved it; that is, it may have done so, and I just wrote off any inconsistency as being the result of my crapped keyboard.
