I have been using Money Talks from the American Printing House for the Blind
(APH.org). It was designed for use with a screen reader so it is fully
accessible. After about five years I finally gave up on Quicken because it
became just too cumbersome.
Money Talks is easy to use and it

The question I have today; is what is a mouse button simulation
and how does one perform this action? Please give me an example.
Hi Folks
I'm using jaws Version 8 professional with windows xp with office 2003.
can any one help with a strange problem with creating headers and footers in
Excel?
this is for my college course and I'm not sure if there is a way round this
problem.
I am told to create headers and footers,
Elaine,
I do this stuff all the time. Actually it's quite easy. There are two ways to
do it.
1. Move the PC cursor to the, for example, date button.
2. Route JAWS to PC.
3. This turns on the JAWS cursor, so reactivate the PC curser.
4. Back tab into the left, center or right edit box and
Hi Elaine,
I have just been playing with this and here is what I discovered.
First, you can get to headers and Footers through the View menu instead of
the File menu, I don't know what difference this makes.
Now as for those Left, Center and Right edit boxes, you can type directly
into them
I got that same thing, but chose to install it later and it hasn't come back
up to prompt me to install.

Goto will do this nicely. Press f5, or control-g for 'go to'. Then
type in the cell coordinates you want, joined by commas if they are
non-contiguous or colon if contiguous. To select f6 and g6, type
f6,g6. To select a group of cells, like columns a through e in rows

hi Dale
wow yeah why didn't I think of that. lol.
I did figure out could put the various items such as date etc within the
edit boxes, but it always went in to the right hand box not the middle or
left. this is so weird.
I'll look at the view menu too, it might work better.
thanks very

Marilyn, all I keep reading is something all about forwarding emails and how
to strip addresses and things. And at the end, after telling us not to, it
wants us to send it to everyone we know. A bit hypocritical, but just my

Listers; my apologies but I don't know why I'm getting the wrong info into
my e mails to you. If you want to check out the American Printing House's
Moneytalks program, go there and find all the info. It sounds like a good
little program and there's a demo. marilyn

ah, thanks Darren.
trust me it was driving me crazy.
didn't help when my tutor suggested I try ctrl tab. honestly how can you
teach some people when they just wont learn. lol.
I think I teach him more than he does me at times.
so was nearly right, just had my cursors muddled up.
thanks
I agree! That thing about forwards must be hung up on my clipboard and I
don't have any idea how to clear the clipboard. And the last part of the
forward this to everybody was supposed to say strip out my address. Well,
no good deed goes unpunished, rigiht? marilyn

Actually what I do is copy and past just the body of the email with out the
addresses all with out forwarding the thing, then I create a merge in
outlook and it sends the message out. If anybody wants the podcast link I
can give it to you. Let me know. I use jaws 10 and outlook 2003 for this
I like that! I had no idea that you could use the go to command like this.
Thanks!

Using IE6 and FF3 with JAWS 10 (no update) I have had no problems with
Twitter, with the exception of that nasty captcha to sign up.
Note, I normally use Twitteriffic for Mac to update, but have done
everything accessibly online as well.
