Hi Miriam,
I am really jammed right now until the end of the month or I would research
this out for you. I will save your email and at end of next week if it is
still an issue I will see if I can resolve it for you.
Meanwhile, 1.) how did you get that "To Miriam" folder and 2.) are all of

What I would like is for someone to tell me step by step how to undo my, "to
miriam", folder, and to move what's there to my inbox so that I can read it
and so that all my emails go to my inbox. That would solve one problem. I
could receive and answer all my emails.

Thank you for these explanations, George. You've explained one or two things
here that I never fully understood. I hope they also give Miriam a few pointers
to start unraveling her email nightmare.

Yes, it would defeat the object if you set a placemarker and kept text that is
certain to change.
From this exchange, I hope other listers will have found a few ways to make
their placemarkers more reliable. When they were introduced many years ago, I
thought they were one of those new FS

Hi Miriam,
Not sure about your many issues but the multiple copies of emails is not
Outlook's fault.
That is something happening with your email provider. I would call their
tech support and ask them to help with your receiving multiple copies of
emails.

Yes, Spanish JAWS versions fill this edit box automatically too, but I usually

Have you looked at the Associate with Text checkbox? When adding a placemarker

Hi Andy.
After more than a decade driving my HP Scanjet 8300, it finally quit
communicating with its own drivers and software in Windows 10. As a
replacement, I went with the Plustech Optibook A300. Not only does it

Hi Miriam,
I am using Windows 10, Office 365 and JAWS18.
I had a somewhat similar issue but it was caused by the fact that I had a

was terrible until I discovered that my Office 365 was not installed. Once

Sharon,
If you are waiting for an update to JAWS 18 to fix this, I'm not sure there
will be any more updates to an older version of JAWS, unless it's a pretty
big bug.

Miriam, no, the problem isn't with JAWS 18, at least none of the ones you

I have bad experiences with Microsoft Disability support, unless the problem
turns out to be really simple, in which case I don't need them! I'll only call

Earlier this week, Justin commented that placemarkers don't always hold their
place, which is true. However, I've found that they are dependable when I put
them on a link. Sometimes it means putting it a line or two away from a logical
spot, but I think they've been stable every time I do this.
