Hi Linda, The FN key can be disabled so the the, F1 thru F12 keys, work normally, but you'll need to do a search for your exact laptop model for the steps. From what I've read in the past about HP laptops this needs to be done in the bios which will require sighted help since Jaws won't work

I have the latest version of windows 10, 1803. When you first open your Documents folder, nothing should be selected. JAWS should say, not selected before it says the name of the first folder. You have several choices as to how you create a new folder. 1. Press control-shift-n and JAWS should

well, it was a good try. That command would not work. I called ms support and they came to the conclusion that the only way is to reformat the drive and recover the data from a backup. I used image for windows and it took a little over 9 hours to backup. It almost did not fit on the laptop hd.
