I have upgraded my windows 7 to windows 8.1 and get installed jaws 17 on my
machine. I am new with windows 8.1 interface and would like if someone help me

The computer shop that rebuilt my grandson’s computer made custom changes to
windows. His win 8.1 machine now has the same start menu and button as win
7.
It would be interesting to see how they did that. He did that because of all
the complaints that he had on his new systems.

I would assume you could get the process started by using Narrato which, in
Windows 8.1, is supposed to be easier to work with than in previous
permission to install new programs. My friend found where to do this and he

Pressing ctrl+shift+ a number between 1 and 8 sets the various types of view,

My computer automatically updated to windows 8.1 this morning and my

I'm confused. Don't you just download the software, and once you install it,
won't the computer start up like normal? Wouldn't Jaws read as it's

I think it did, it just took a long time to do. Plan on leaving it for
at least an hour once it has begun. If jaws doesn't start, you can hit
windows-ctrl-u to bring up narrator and figure out what is going on,
likely it will still be installing.
