Hi Umanga
That would be a hyperlink pointing to the pdb file URL. With a
button, the equivalent is location.href
But whether that is downloaded or opened in the browser, or in a
helper program, will depend on each user's browser and configuration.
Maybe you can copy the link present in the PDB
If you have not seen it, take a look at http://touchpress.com/

At the risk of sounding like a broken record (what is the modern metaphor for
this?), I would like to put soundings out again for eg
I agree completely with Henry, and in fact the idea that the world might be
moving away from supporting Java is a very scary thought in terms of our

I don't think that the analogy with Chime is that relevant : in the last years

With the inclusion of UFF minimization in Jmol, I decided to revisit an old
project that I started in the early days of Chime - the design of a virtual
molecular model kit that had the feel of an old Prentice Hall student model

Quite an impressive piece of work. Congratulations!
In case you want to look into this, my Firefox 3.6 (WinXP) refuses to

I agree that this is looking like a very nice tool.

Hi,
I am using rotateSelected and translateSelected to superpose two protein
molecules. My code works in recent 11.9 (currently, I'm using 11.9.17)
versions of Jmol, but not in 12.0.RC3 nor .RC4.
In 12.0.RC3 the below script fails silently, while in 12.0.RC4 I get an
