I am using jquery Datepicker (from 1.6rc2 package) and have noticed
that a form that uses a field to which the Datepicker is attached is
submitted twice. Only in Firefox, though. Works fine in IE 7 and
Google Chrome. Removing the jquery stuff eliminates the problem and
putting it back

I am having this same problem but adding position:relative makes the
issue worse in my case. The behavior I get is that I can drag the item
and the viewport will scroll and I can drop the item. Then if I try to
reposition or resize the item it will first drop to the bottom of the

It seems the appendTo option for sortable is no longer working. In
1.5 it changed the location where the helper was appended to, now no
matter what the helper stays within the parent of the sortables. Does
anyone know if this is a bug or if there is a way around this?
