Actually, it crashes even when an empty draft email window is closed, no need
to send an email.

Well, my experience with Zimbra+Trojita is much better than combination of
Zimbra+Kontact, so I'll just press the Ctrl+E a bit more often.
Would prefer a workaround on Trojita level, but I totally understand

I think some of it may be caused by having multiple taskbars (some hidden). I

yes, I think the Kopete blinking icon does make the issue more pronounced, but
