Kr Netters, I hesitate to bring this up again, but I should be ready to have my Kr2s inspected in 2 or 3 months. I don't know if it is possible to get the plane listed as LSA. How do you know if the stall speed will be low enough before you fly it? I do have an 1835 VW

I am building a KR2S. There are two shelves which are attached to the upper firewall. My fuel tank rests on the lower shelf and I do not want that. My problem is:: shall I cut off about the aft 2 inches of the shelf, or about 1/2" of the fuel tank? My main concern is structural.

Ron, I made my cabin wider and my canopy taller, so pre-molds would not fit. I made my own formers and used 1/16th Hoop Pine plywood for my turtledeck. So far, it is okay. If you are interested, I can tell you where to get it, in Houston. The weight may be less than a pre-mold.
