Sue,
you are not the only one. I offered to make two cards but only
received one in return and that one arrived this week. Way into the new year.

Hi everyone -
This has been an interesting thread, but I admit that my foggy brain is not
quite able to understand the advantage here...
I have a copy of the International Lace Dictionary (Spee, van den Kieboom,

Dear Spiders,
There just might be a cause for my unhappiness with the bottle of starch I
have and want to know if any of you might have experienced a change in the
quality of your starch with temperature changes. This bottle accompanied me to

Clay, the book you mention seems out of print. How about making the online

I see lots of advantages: the internet is (or will be soon) available
anywhere, anytime (thinking of e.g the iPhone), so you dont have to take a
book with you. And you don't have
No problem, Sue! And not fatal at all - life is fatal!
I also make bobbin lace since 18 months only now, before that I did some
knitted lace (and socks of course), crocheting, and I tried filet work, some
tatting etc. etc.
Best, Achim.

I keep a notebook of working sheets such as the glossary and other goodies

The cheapest I can find in UK so far is £9.95 each.
As with many new products, they will be expensive initially and come
