It's certainly hand made, but I agree that it doesn't look to be 17th century.
There was a revival of 'Reticella' in the 19th century promoted by the art
critic John Ruskin (friend/associate of the pre-Raphaelite painters). This
'Reticella' s known as Ruskin lace work.

Dear Friends,
for those of you who won the raffle of Irish linen handkerchiefs,
this is just a quick message to let you know they were posted to you
today (Tuesday) at 3:00 p.m. Australian Eastern Summer time. I was
assured that you should all receive them before Christmas.

Correction!
I am afraid that I have made a mistake in the letter I posted this morning.
Twist and Cross is a magazine which appears every four months, with

(quarterly), which is so similar to a Spanish term that means 3 times a
year.
Hello Antje and everyone
I have seen this magazine all about lace and I love it! It is beautifully
printed, in colour. The stories and articles are varied and interesting,
the quality of the patterns are impressive. I am ordering for myself very

Hello All! Thank you Jo for posting the link--those are some spiders!
Scrolling down, that hat was fab too!! Should I add rock climber to the list
of Bev's many talents?? Caribiner--indeed! Who knew that those thingies
have a name?! My DH uses them on his boat I've always used the
so easy to see happening, customer service being what it is today. A lady
died this past January, and Citibank billed her for February and March for
their annual service charges on her credit card, and added late fees and
interest on the monthly charge. The balance had been $0.00 when she died,
That reminds me of correspondence I had with British Gas after my MIL died.
The gas and electric on her bungalow was put into my name whilst we got
everything sorted out (my name because it's me that always does the paperwork
stuff).
