So from a svn version, gtk2 built, no additional package installed, and
a new auto-generated ~/.lazarus, it seems that the crash is caused by
some SGV handling within the openfile dlg.
After running Lazarus, I just clicked on the 'open project' menu item.

Nice to be back here! I could'nt read the list fr a long time because my
mailbox was full and I didn't have an appropriate Internet connection.
I allways get an Access violation in a form with a notebook (i386 AND
x86_64): the crash occurs when showing it for the 2nd time. GTK2 ;-).
