I installed Windows 7 Professional over the weekend on my iMac VMware-
Fusion and it is working great. Had a few issues, but after using
some VMware forum tweaks got it to work great. I still wish I could
run Legacy direct on my iMAC, but with Fusion, I seem to be able to

Nancy - I use 'Fusion' as a Virtual Machine with Windows XP

combination. I am still trying to find someone who can explain what
Windows 7 will do to this configuration. Thus far, I'm told it will
not work, but what do I do if

I've encountered a problem that I can find no references in the manual
or the help files. It has to do with page numbering in a 'Book/Other

Somehow I managed to get a page numbering system that shows up in the
preview as 'Page 2(1044 of
Ron - Thanks for the suggestion - it now works just fine - I had not
had occasion to use that feature before. Sometimes the simplest

Wendy and others - Thanks for the help. I was at my wits end - not a
long journey though - and the suggestion to Options -- Customize --
Data Format and allowing the program to convert all spellings to the
format suggested solved the issue.

Dennis - I've not had a lot of experience with the formulas you share
with us. Is this a formula applied via Access or one that is from the
LTools area? If an Access item, could you steer me to a site that
might explain the building and application of the formulas. I have
the LTools but
Dennis - Disregard my earlier request for clarification on removing
all the burial notes - I was able to apply the formula through the
LTools feature on a test of one of my saved files. It works really
great, but your 'SQL...' caution is not to be taken lightly! :-) is a

I prefer to withhold the data on living people due to some of the
sensitivity of data when they may not be aware of the wide spread

You might try inserting your MS OFFICE 2003 disc in you drive and see

are about 8 programs on it, including Access. Try installing it.
