These are great features of Legacy. With some experience you could use Access
to manipulate the data any way you can imagine.

It should be easy to tag marriages where all of the children have a valid birth
date and then sort only those families by birthdate. This would achieve a
mass sort on those families where it is logical to do and leave those that
have missing dates alone.

I was glad to see that others have encountered this problem when moving data to
another legacy file. Definitely, there should be an option to retain the
modified and added dates when moving. Also the indicator as to whether the
data was imported or hand entered should be preserved...perhaps
version (7.0.0.86) and
then do the backup-restore. This method of transfer will not lose anything.

I use Legacy on MacBook under Parallels running Windows XP in the virtual
machine. Works great. You will probably require an Intel based Apple...not

at the end of the marriage location field so that it will be consistent with

Bottom line...there is no programmed place to store the marriage address
like there is for birth, death, etc. If there were one, then it could be
included in building a sentence about the marriage, churches and reception
centers could be kept from the master location list, etc.
