There are a couple of thoughts here. Firstly, you do not have the country so

Did you try exporting from Legacy as a Legacy file, not as a gedcom

Hi Gene. Did you resolve your issue? Lost in all the discussion, at
least for me, is what program you are transferring your Legacy gedcom
into? Just wondering if that might make any difference. I simply used
the defaults, but saved my export as a Legacy file, not a gedcom,
imported into TNG
Jerry,
No joy yet. I'm importing into TNG; however, that is a moot
point. When I inspect the GEDCOM created by Legacy, I'm not finding
the LATI or the LONG statement, even though virtually every location
in my database has been Geo-coded, even the Event locations.

Ron,
I'm using the very same setup and file. GEDCOM 5.5 does not, by

Why not just select export as Legacy, use defaults and don't change back to

When you use the EXPORT menu selection on Legacy, even when you select
LEGACY as the type of file and not GEDCOM, in reality you are still
creating a GEDCOM file. The only thing I can tell you is that I used
LEGACY for my EXPORT (NOT GEDCOM). Then I just let the defaults take
