Please ignore my earlier email, I have now solved
the problem!
For those who would like to know - and only
applies if you have the install.log file stored in
the backup folder for example:
Move this file to the main Legacy folder i.e.
C:\Legacy
Go to Add/Remove Programs and

icon, the resulting list is always sorted by given name. I would
like to see it sorted by surname.

Ah! I see what you are saying now. My names have the first name listed first
but they are actually sorted by surname. You want the surname to be at the
front. The Legacy powers to be need to answer this one!

It has been my experience that the search list works in the same way as the name
list. You can go back and forth between given name and surname by clicking on
the spaces at the top. The alpha listing will adjust to whichever format is
selected.

Yes, in the Search List page, at the top where it say Given Name and Surname,
just click Surname and it's sorted by surname, click Given Name and it's sorted
by giving name.
