Thanks, the 'good' news is that although 'RG78' appears in the citation
preview, it doesn't appear in reports using the citation.

Surely the whole point of Cancel is that you don't want to Save any
changes you have made?

Ah! I see what you are saying now. I went back to v7.5 and you do get a
warning message. I will pass this on to Brian (the bug tech) to see if he
wants to handle it as a bug (it isn’t a bug per se but rather an option that
was left out of v8 that was in v7.5) or does he want to handle it as

Which begs the question, ‘Why didn’t/don’t you continue to use that program?’

I have had the same issue and reported it; however, I haven't heard any further

I've noticed the incorrect names pulled into shared events.

Whether or not you use a special event for Birth Certificates is up to you.
I don't.
I just add it as a source for the data on the certificate.
I think you need to add it as a source for the actual data and not

The problem is I don't have an option.
If I open 7.5 - go to open family file - the file of all my old files

If I say no I get the message I have an older format.

When you get the message to convert you need to say yes as the 7.5 file was
created with an earlier version of it so you need to have it convert it to it’s
