Sorry Jay (and anyone else I may have misled)
What I am seeking is a way to change the displayed image associated with an
attached document, on a document by document basis, rather than a universal
change to the single default image.

But the answer is in LTools when you run find Unattached
media you will be prompted to select a specific folder.
Any Media type item in that folder that
The Index view in Legacy 8 still has the zoom option! It is invoked in
exactly the same way as in 7.5. Click Options and select Zoom.
I do not know why you think Legacy is using the minimum font size on
pedigree view. My min font is the default 6 points and the font size on
my Pedigree is well
The use of LF.jpg for the display icon for files in the Gallery is hard
coded in the program. There is no way to use different icon for each
occurrence of a File link. The same rule applies for Sound and Video
files as well. Sounds use LS.jpg and Videos use LV.jpg.

Legacy User Group guidelines:
Database/familyfile of ~15,000 persons and 5100 marriages.
ORIGINALLY created by keying in the contents of a genealogy
book. First done in PAF5, then ported to Legacy 7 and then
to 8.
Everyone in the book ought to be in the db/ff.
Unfortunately, while documenting those people, I've added

Cheryl,
If you did not assign a source to those individuals you keyed in then there
is no way of doing what you are asking other then to do the page by page
look up. However, if you did assign a source then you could just tag all
those individuals or marriages that are assigned that master source.
First look at your index of names with the sort by RIN number and from the
end of the list.. see how far down you can go before you start hitting the
point where they are in the book.
Tag those and that should be the bulk of your additions.
The remaining will have to be done as you suggested
Too tired to explain this step by step, but working from Individual edit
page, looking up a location in GEO database, then seeing others on the
location list that need to be merged, doing some of that, then NOT
selecting the location last merged but it is highlighted, closing the
edit list,
If you added all the info from a book, then the RINs should have been assigned
sequentially. Assuming that you did not fill abandoned RINs which are left
when records are deleted...then all the book entries should be in a given range
of RINs. Second assumption is that the data from the book
