So I would bet screen shots would be a great help in a case like this. I hope my suggestion I entered on the new ideas list gets forwarded to whomever, instead of dismissed... Thanks On Sun, Jun 29, 2014 at 9:14 PM, Sherry/Support wrote: > I guess I don't understand what Help topic you

Hi, I think the boxes in the pedigree tab in Legacy 8 are taller than they were in version 7.5 to allow for a picture box for each individual. The boxes are the same height whether or not option 8.9 is selected. The box is tall enough for the place holder silhouette, but Legacy 7.5 only had o

Hello all I am still learning & navigating my way around Legacy 7.5.0.278. I just right clicked on a name in the pedigree view and 2 pop-up boxes appeared showing spouse & siblings. Now, how do I get the pop-up boxes to go away? I've exited and when reopened the file & looked at the pedigree vi

I guess I don't understand what Help topic you're referring to. Please give us the number in the lower left corner ot the topic. The topic for Pedigree View doesn't show boxes at all. It's possible that some of the screen shots from 7.5 didn't get updated in the Help file for v8. You've never be

I give up. I've told you how to make the font larger. I've given you screen shots that show there isn't heaps of room left over and in fact not all the information fits. The screen shots are full screen. I usually don't run full screen so there's even less room in the boxes. If you've got emp

I mean the pedigree boxes themselves. Well drat! This really IS a bug because most of the page is taken up with empty boxes! Not at all the way it looks in the Help file. That photo shows a Pedigree screen that looks like the one in Legacy 7.5 - boxes that are merely as tall as the name. They m

I still don't know whether you mean the sibling and child boxes or the pedigree boxes. You can get rid of the former by right clicking and unchecking to include these boxes. You can't get rid of the "chart" boxes. You can increase the screen font but if you do, it increases for all views at Opt

So how do I get rid of the boxes in the Pedigree View? They are huge; the font is tiny, and you say the font in those boxes cannot be changed. My Pedigree screen does not look like the one in the Help file (Tips and Tricks). How do I have narrower boxes without all the empty space at the top an
