Trevor,
Look at the Report Options for the particular book you are wanting to
create.
Click the Report Options button
On the Include tab you'll find Addr. ...
On the Notes tab you'll find checkboxes for these notes.
However, you can't include vital event pictures in a book.
They are included,

Make sure you do File > File Maintenance > Check/Repair regularly.
It has a compact within it but I don't know if it is as extensive as the
separate one.
It has many other elements that are vital to keeping your database healthy.
Databases need maintenance.

I am formatting a book on a family in my tree, and my question is:- How
do I include the following items in my book? "Birth Address", "Birth
Notes", "Birth Pictures", plus the same for "Christening", "Death", and
"Burial"

Thanks for your advice, Chris. I am such a novice at the ends and outs of
Legacy, I panic when something weird happens. I’ll stay away from Compact
Family Records from now on.

Thanks Cathy - I would have probably forgot to do a Check/Repair and it's
nice to get a "Thumbs Up".

Jim,
If you are taking the opportunity of upgrading from Legacy 7.5 to Legacy
9 as you switch computer and you haven't been linking media, that's a
great plan.
Restoring a backup is the easiest way to change to a new computer as

Hi
That is good to hear. The Compact, ignore my earlier email, should not
remove any information. All that it does is to compress the various tables
to recover space that had been used by deleted entries.
Basically, Access never overwrites space that had been used by deleted
records. It always
Hi
This should only take a few minutes. If half of the dialog is missing then
you should be able to drag it back into vision. Then see if there is a
button waiting for a response.
Do you have a current backup, which you should always do before running

Whew! The Compact Family File is done! How changed are my files? Is there a
report I can run that will tell me what’s different? Thanks.

I set this in motion after a Check and repair told me to. There was an error

Do not destroy your old file and triple check your new files, including any
tools you might use.
Without thinking, I would upgrade my computer first and then after all is
working upgrade my Legacy on the new machine.
I would worry about too many things changing at the same time.

On Wed,
Been a long time since I needed to change computers, so want to confirm my
"plan".
On the old computer with Legacy 7.5, I will do a Back Up of my current
data file, to a Thumb drive, renaming the Back Up. "New Family File (date)".
On the new computer, I will install Legacy 9. Open it and select
Support for same sex marriages was introduced in Legacy 9.0. Legacy 8.0
does not support them.
